How should you take a 'spoon nap'?

The Spanish, especially Andalusians, are called lazy because they have the habit of taking a nap, but in reality they have science on their side. Not only has napping been shown to have health benefits, but there are also studies that directly suggest that it is a habit typical of geniuses. You probably think that naps are just for recovery after a bad night to have more energy, but scientists are studying it to improve creativity and learning. In any case, this new application was already put into practice by Salvador Dalí with the spoon nap. This Spaniard, known all over the world, took a nap with a spoon in his hand and, just below it, a small plate. The moment the artist fell asleep, the spoon slipped between his fingers, hit the saucer and the sound woke him up. According to him, this very short nap enhanced his creativity and made him wake up with new ideas to work on. Now science has proven Dalí right.

WHAT IS THE TAX ON A SECOND STAY IN SPAIN?
As a foreign resident, you must state in your personal tax return that you own foreign real estate. You are also obliged to declare the income from the foreign real estate, even if you do not rent it out. Due to the double tax treaty between your country and Spain, only Spain has the right to tax real estate located in Spain. This means that your country cannot tax your holiday home in Spain. However, income from Spanish real estate is eligible to determine the progressive personal tax rate (progression reservation). Example: Your annual taxable income is 37,000 euros. The highest rate applicable here is 45% on part of your income. You buy a second home, which increases your taxable income by 5,000 euros to 42,000 euros. In principle, you will not be taxed on those 5,000 euros, but now a higher rate of may be 50% applies to part of your income.
